The purpose of NYS AHPERD is to provide inspiration, professional development and leadership opportunities for health and physical educators, higher education professionals and future professionals.
Zones
NYS AHPERD consists of 11 Zones which are divided by geographical boundaries. Each Zone ideally has a presidential team including a president-elect, a president, and a past president who together provide overall leadership to Zone members.
Sections
NYS AHPERD Sections are organized on the basis of professional interests. Each current member is automatically listed as a member of each section.
Foundation
The goal of the NYS AHPERD Foundation is to leave a strong and secure legacy for generations of educators to come. Your gift to the Foundation enables us to provide professional development opportunities, scholarships, grants & advocacy initiatives for our members.
